Our mission is to empower those caring for a loved one to have more peace, joy, and hope in caregiving.

At Olive Branch Caregiving, our services include offering educational guides, checklists, online and in-person support, community events and caregiving conferences--helping caregivers navigate their care responsibilities while advocating for their loved ones, too. 

Olive Branch Caregiving's story was formed from the love between a Mother and Daughter. Sheila Stearos, the founder, accepted her calling to create this opportunity from her faith in God, calling her to do so after her Mother's death.  

Ms. Sheila's Mom was amazed by her care and the way she was able to navigate the care system and coordinate multiple providers and legal concerns simultaneously as her needs increased while battling aggressive cancer and then choosing to optimize her time present in Hospice Care. 

It was in the final hours of her Mom's presence that another Hospice Nurse confirmed with Sheila that she had the knowledge, experience, and heart to create a future support system for caregivers. 

Sheila worked through the processes outlined in the book "Living in The Power of One" with Rev. David Dean, founder of Growth Ministries,  https://www.growthministriesunlimited.org/. He also helped her complete her faith journey, working through Rick Warren's book, "The Purpose Driven Life."  Through the additional support of beautifully strong women in her life, Sheila is able to walk her path of helping other caregivers walk theirs.  She understands the difference a kind word can make in life's most difficult moments.  

Four years later, after her Mom's passing and after becoming a dislocated worker, Sheila decided to pray for God's support and direction.  He has blessed her journey.  She continues to discern His direction and follow His calling to provide you with the best materials and support possible. 

After serving as an Executrix of another dear friend's estate, a death doula for her closest best friend, caring for her Dad as he ages in place at home, experience and certification as a Grief Recovery Method Specialist and a Certified Senior Advisor, with over seven years serving as a Hospice Volunteer Coordinator, eleven years as an insurance agent, and currently serving as a Service Coordinator for a HUD residential community, Sheila has a broad background to support you in your caregiving journey.
